Jan 12th: starting the year with a mission @ MCBC…

Our theme for 2013-2014 was “Nurturing your Spiritual Life and Obeying the Great Commission.” In 2013 we focused more on the first part: Nurturing your spiritual life. This year we will focus more the second part: Obeying the Great Commission. Anyone who knows about evangelism, peace-making, outreaching and missions will know these are tough to do and in fact can be just plain scary.

This morning we will start a 2-part series to launch our amazing but daunting theme…hopefully this year evangelism, peace-making, outreaching, missions will become scary amazing! Be there to hang out with Jesus, Peter, Andrew, James and John.
